Cashmere is one of the finest fibers on the planet and known as "diamond fiber" or "soft gold". The finesse of pure cashmere fibers possess a natural, lustrous sheen, and subtle waterweave pattern. To help maintain the color and shape, we recommend professional dry-cleaning. Shaking your cashmere throw will help to remove dust particles and fluff the fibers. Small marks or stains can be removed by dabbing gently with a moist cloth or shampoo. Always air dry to avoid shrinkage. Never tumble dry cashmere items.

Cashmere is so expensive because to withstand the extremely cold climate, cashmere goats have an undercoat of downy wool. Cashmere is combed from this super soft and warm layer of undercoat. Each goat may only produce 3 to 4 ounces of fine cashmere, after separating out unwanted long hairs and cleaning. It will take a year of 4-5 cashmere goats to create a cashmere throw blanket.
